Wired

- Wired networking uses conventional twisted pair solutions and connected via switches chosen to run at the required speeds.
- This is a well established technology and meets the needs of many small / medium office users.

Wireless

- This is now being increasingly used, in some installations it will work out less expensive and neater than the wired equivalent.
- Signals can be encrypted to make the system secure from eavesdroppers.

Security routers and Firewalls
- Unforunately as the internet has evolved it has attracted some users with less than honorable intentions, security firewalls have become essential in todays electronic office. We suggest the use of a combination of firewall anti virus and other malware products to keep malware under control.
The good news is that many of these products have come down in price over the last few years and products which at one time could only be available to banks and larger corporations can now be used on the broadband attached network of smaller offices.
